We were able to head to our local hockey brothers and sisters at Mylec Hockey. We interviewed the owner, Rick Laperriere and hear his crazy story from being on Mylec packaging as a kid and now owning the company.

In the past, we've put our focus on local, Massachusetts companies, however for this week we branched out a bit and interviewed Pro Stock Hockey. Pro Stock Hockey is the spot to go to if you're looking to get some pro gear. We sat down via Skype with Shawn O'Connell, Operations Manager of Pro Stock Hockey. We talked day to day operations, the Olympics, Vegas Golden Knights and equipment from Zdeno Chara and Jaromir Jagr.

Local hockey company, Carbon Sports Hockey, developed a new twist on the common hockey stick we are all used too. We were fortunate enough to take a day and head to the Larsen Rink in Winthrop, MA and test out the new gear, as well as sit down with Founder of Carbon Sports, Richard Fucillo and learn a little more about the company. 

We recently took a trip to Watertown, MA and visited the New England Flag and Banner offices. If you've watched any sporting event in the past 125+ years, you'v seen their work. From Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky's retirement banner, to the LA Kings' championship banners, to 80% of NCAA's banners, New England Flag and Banner has had a stronghold in the athletic banner space. 

A few weeks back, we took a roadie down to Providence, Rhode Island to visit our friends at Zeal Hockey. 

Following up with our Hollow Testing video and reactions, we decided to chat with Jon Hutcheon of High End Hockey regarding the sport we all know and love. 

As many of you know, the process to produce and release the Sparx sharpener was an absolute journey. Recently, Founder/CEO Russ Layton busted out the old prototypes for a little show and tell.
