My 9-year old grandson has been playing hockey for a couple of years and my son was complaining about how often (and the cost) his skates needed sharpening. So, for Christmas, I bought him a Sparx sharpener, and he said it is pretty sweet, the tech is slick with an app, and you can save profiles, preferred rings, etc. And it tells you the life of the grinding ring/air filter.
