The traditional and even redesigned edge checkers always seemed to be lacking and I found it easy to question was my checker perfectly level or was it off a little. With this I finally am confident that the edges are straight. As someone who sharpens others skates too I take pride know long every pair with be checked with this system.

This thing is a fantastic piece of kit. All of my apprehension about the price dissappeared when i saw just how far out of alignment my blades really were. It's really simple to use and i love how the app can tell you based on your measurement which adjustments to make to your machine to dial it back in.
